Inge mentioned that she had a last minute plan to go for a weekend to Belgium for her dad's birthday and since Filip said how sad he was that he was not at our wedding I decided to stick up my thumb and hitch a ride with Inge and Jackie.
This also meant another stamp for Chizuru in her passport as she had not been to Belgium yet ^_^
It was really great seeing Filip as I had not seen him in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages and I miss hanging out with him a lot. I also got to know his brother and dad a bit better as on previous visits it was more of a hi and bye type encounter. A nice surprise was seeing Carla again after all these years. The lady who never liked kids much but is now a super mum!
Chizuru was able to speak Japanese as Filips younger brother has a Japanese girlfriend. Great girl who loves flying STUNT planes!!!
We had a great meal in Koningshuis and did a mini sight seeing tour with Filip putting on a brave face after dislocating his shoulder because he gave his bed to me and slept in the bed he used as a kid in his parents house.
Money is tight right now but want to visit Belgium again real soon!
今月初め週末を利用しベルギーの実家に帰るというジェラルドの親友インゲに便乗させてもらい
ドーバー海峡を渡っての初ベルギーに行ってきました。
そこではジェラルドの大親友フィリップ宅に停めてもらいおいしいご飯、会話、景色、小観光を
楽しませてもらいました。フィリップの弟さんの彼女がコレまた日本女性で、英語ペラペラの才女！
趣味はアクロバット飛行というスーパーガールのゆかりさんにお会いし、つかの間の日本語トークを
満喫させて頂きました。お土産に紫蘇の種を頂き栽培する事一週間...にょきにょききました！！
日本食がべらぼうに高いイギリスで新鮮かつ自分で栽培出来るなんて...幸せだ〜。
納豆の繁殖の仕方なども詳しく教えて頂きこちらもこれから挑戦予定です。
一泊二日だったけど超楽しい新婚旅行させてくれて皆に感謝、感謝！！
また遊びにいきたいなぁ〜。
