A few years ago I found this blog written by an ambulance guy. His stories grabbed me and I was hooked, I thought to myself "wow, this must be some guy" but when I met him I found he was more than that, humble, funny and above all very friendly.
I will never understand how someone can dedicate his or her life for a shitty pay and work themselves to the bone with little thanks. It's something that is beyond me but I'm very grateful that these people excist.
The guy in question has now written a book about it all and what does he do? Sell the first copy signed on ebay so he can donate the money!!!
I wish I could afford to bid on the book but with a baby on the way that is not to be. If you can spare a few bob be so kind to bid here!
